My name is Christy Knabe
Since I was a child I've had a passion for art and fashion. My experience as an artist is what has inspired me to be an entrepreneur. My entire life, I’ve considered myself an innovator and frequently express that through my style and my appearance. In every article of clothing I transform, I like to capture my uniqueness. Every piece of upcycled second-hand clothing is 100% original and one-of-a-kind for all genders and body types.
The main inspiration behind starting my company is my Nana, who passed away in 2012 from Alzheimer’s. I taught myself to sew and many of the materials I use come from her collection. In addition to prioritizing and using sustainable textiles, I am making an effort to help give back to my community. I will be donating a portion of my sales to the Alzheimer’s Association in hopes of supporting prevention, treatment, and research.
I designed my logo in honor of my Nana. My custom butterfly logo represents the soul and is a symbol of transformation, just as my business allows me to bring old pieces back to life.
